Level and Span

 
 
 

Span 

One of the things to help Thermal Imaging and Thermographers is the use of Level and Span. We can take different looks at the same image.

  Contrast =Span 

The images below are all the same with different span applied.  We have different pallettes below as well as adjusted span.

As you can see in the above image we can gain a different perspective with the same image by simply applying different

 span adjustments to the same image.  Changing palette and span to the same image also changes how we see the image. 

However in every instance above we are looking at the same thermal image.
