We provide a report that models the energy usage of your home. At Red E3 we are proud to use EnergyPro 5 for our computer modeling. EnergyPro by EnergySoft is a California Energy Commission approved software program for title 24 and HERS reports.
When doing Energy Audits and HERS testing here in San Diego we use climate zone 7 and climate zone 10 for modeling.
We test and measure your house and enter the information into a program. The results are then computed and packaged in a report. We can then make recommendations based on this report and there projected benefits. We can put the two reports side by side and compare the results. This gives you real data to make informed decisions regarding your home.

Year built
Construction type
Orientation
Seasonal weather Data Climate zone
Square footage
Door and window size type and location
Physical features such as wall square footage size, foundation type, ceiling square footage, volume of envelope.
Insulation R rating
Mechanical Features such as HVAC, DHW
Appliance schedule
Lighting schedule
Duct leakage testing
Blower Door testing
