HERS Testing
HERS stands for Home Energy Rating Service. Red E3 is a San Diego HERS Rater company.As HERS Rater we provide third party verification of energy features of projects. HERS Raters are third party verifiers providing field verification and diagnostic testing for title 24 protocols.
The HERS Rater here in California works off the CF-1R and provides testing and verification based off this document .Thirdâparty verification on energy features gives the customer and the State of California the assurance of quality test. It should be noted that a HERS Rater cannot do repairs of the systems. A HERS test is not unlike a smog test only station. A HERS Rater is there to provide a pass or fail test.
